The thief used it to hack into my bank account and stole hundreds of dollars.

2. Do NOT share them with anyone, not even friends or family
Do NOT leave them lying around

3. Make them strong:
Use a combination of letters, numbers and symbols
Even better… use a passphrase, which is longer and easier to remember
