Figure 3 The disease-free survival (DFS) nomogram provides a graphic approach to calculate 5-year DFS after resection on the basis of a patient’s combination of clinicopathologic covariates. First, locate the patient’s age and draw a line straight up to the points axis to derive the score associated with an age. Repeat for the other covariates on the nomogram. Add the scores for each covariate to determine the total score. Draw a vertical line from the total points axis to the 5-year DFS axis to obtain the predicted probability.
