2. Key Vocabulary Ratio: A comparison of two quantities by division.
Rate: a ratio that compares two quantities measured in different units, such as miles to gallons or feet to seconds.
Unit Rate: is the rate for one unit of a given quantity

4. How to find the Unit Rate
The ratio is written as a fraction would appear.
For it to be the unit rate it has to be per one unit given (meaning the denominator would be one).
Divide the numerator by the denominator in order to find the unit rate.
