Where the information comes from Continuing period of significant changes for centres Verification under old names or by site Integration of quality systems New colleagues/departure of old colleagues Bigger classes, new subjects Different staff teaching the same Unit – coordination issues Need for supporting staff

Always go back to the Evidence Requirements Use IV as a developmental tool to support staff The importance of continuing discussion to enhance consistency and arrive at sound decisions Discuss and record good practice and problems Continue to monitor GU grades and avoid grade creep Positive feedback from learners

New centres at both home and abroad and many amalgamations Most centres use the SQA Exemplars/ASPs Security: MPO Get question papers back in for in class work All assessments must go through internal verification Turnitin/authenticity sheets Feedback and electronic feedback Managing ongoing assessment - Business GU2, Getting Started in Business etc.

Turnitin/questioning/declaration sheets Electronic submission makes dates and times transparent Integration of assessment Referencing systems Use of social media, VLE’s, YouTube Recording problems and discussion in IV records Good feedback and guidance
