6. Rigging – Tie In Chest harness should be high
Allow 1”space between self belay and top ascender
Self belay should be placed behind the tri-link
Top ascender should be about the eye level
Bottom ascender should be about 1’ below the tri-link
Main rope and the top ascender should go through the tri-link

7. Technique Safety Check Approach the Rope at the Ground At Edge At top
Adjust each ascender so that we can walk up as smooth as possible
Start climbing with short steps and steady pace
At Edge
Slide self belay over the edge as far up as possible, by standing on the top and bottom stirrups
Take out top ascender and move over and above the edge
Take the top ascender webbing/rope out of the tri-link
Take main line out of the tri-link
Move up edge toward anchor as far as possible
Take out lower ascender and move over and above the edge
Move to the safe location away from the edge.
There may be a minor change in sequence due to the rock face.
At top
Remove the top and bottom ascender from the main line.
“Off Rope”
Remove the self belay
