Class of 2019 Graduation Requirements
4 Credits English Language Arts (ELA) 4 Credits Mathematics One must be Algebra I and one must be Geometry 3 Credits Science One of which must be Biology I 3 Credits Social Studies 1 credit in World History , 1 credit in U.S. History , .5 credit in U.S. Government .5 credit in Economics 1 Credit Performing or Practical Fine Art Credit 1 Credit of HOPE 8 Elective Credits 1 Online Course Students must earn a 2.0 grade

Grade Forgiveness Students may earn forgiveness for classes that where they earned D or an F by taking a virtual school class PLATO – a computer program used to retake a class where you earned failing grades. Classes are taken here at Creekside during the school day. You can take a class for grade forgiveness online over the summer but be aware it may take longer than you think!

Class of 2019 SPN 1120 and SPN 1121 – 8 college credit hours BSC 1005 and BSC 1020 – 8 college credit hours

Dual Enrollment Criteria
Teacher recommendation Meet the county criteria to take an honors/AP/DE level course 3.0 or higher UNWEIGHTED GPA, must meet this by May 26, 2016 Qualifying test score on either the ACT, SAT or CPT exam, must meet this by April 22, 2016 Test Score requirements All DE courses except for Math Math DE Courses SAT Critical Reading 450 - Math ACT 19 - Reading 21 - Math CPT 83 – Reading Comprehension and Sentence Skills 85 – Elementary Algebra and Arithmetic Skills

Do you need to take the CPT?
Creekside will administer the CPT exam on January 28th and February 11th Only test 150 students – 75 each day Must turn in a DE application by January 14th to guidance in order to sit for CPT exam on January 28th or by January 29th to sit for the February 11th CPT exam Must turn in official copy of SAT or ACT scores with application no later than April 22th, 2016 if you want to take DE classes for the school year Can register for DE courses at your registration appointment if you meet all criteria and have turned in paperwork

February 9: Seay periods 1-6 in the Auditorium February 11: Sibley periods 2-7 in the Auditorium February 12: Hanson periods 1, 3-7 in the Auditorium February 19: Broadfoot periods 1, 4, 5, 7 in the Auditorium

Student Course Verifications will show all the classes you were recommended for. If you are missing a core class ask your teacher to write in your recommendation. You can make changes by crossing out the course and writing in a new one. Guidance Counselors will review your request at your registration appointment. Remember to think about your class selection carefully. You will be in these classes for the entire year. You have until April 22nd to make any changes to your classes for next year.

Elective Worksheet You will select 10 electives and rank them in order 1-10. Choose carefully-if you are in the class and it appears as a choice on your sheet you will not be taken out of the class. The Course Catalog will be available on the CHS website.
