Example: Find the set of numerals listed from least to greatest. the details in the questions! This helps you focus on exactly what the question is. Highlight,underline, or circle

Read the question carefully. Predict what the answer is BEFORE you read the choices. Example: Who was the first president of the United States? DON T LOOK before you predict the answer. Then check to see if your prediction is a CHOICE.

TRASH! Read ALL choices. Eliminate any choice(s) that you KNOW is a wrong answer. The choice is obviously Think carefully over the choices remaining. Choose what you think is the BEST answer.

Once you have chosen an answer and make sure it makes sense. PLUG IT IN

Charts give information you need to answer questions. Maps give you information you need to answer the questions. ZAP the MAP! Be SMART and USE the CHART!

You dont want to miss anything! If necessary, If the directions say read READ!......... to the text and GO BACK READ to find an answer to a question.

A machine grades your tests. If it isnt bubbled exactly right You will NOT get credit for your knowledge.......... YIKES !!

If you get to couple of questions that you just dont know, DONT GIVE UP! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!! Keep giving the test your very best. You will get to an easier question soon!

DON T leave a question unanswered. You will not have any chance of getting it right! If you snooze and leave a question blank, YOU LOSE !

Sit back and relax as you browse through your test to reaffirm your answers. Don t be lazy. Go the extra mile and ………. When you have completed the test, go back and one more time! CHECK IT OUT CHECK IT OUT! You ll be a winner!
