2 Project Scope Change Summary: Implementation Strategy and Date:
The CPR coolant lines on L series engines are being converted from rigid tubes to nylon tubes. The diameter of the supply & return tubes was modified from existing 10.92mm to 14mm to meet the flow requirements of air compressor The basic routing of the lines is same. Supply from the block & return to cylinder head. The new design has swivel connector at one end and quick disconnects on the other.PA12 hose would be used which will attach to both the connector ends Implementation Strategy and Date: Take a new option & obsolete the existing options Implement by: End of this year: 31-Dec-2017

Existing option : with rigid lines Supply-from block Return- To cylinder head New option : with quick disconnects Supply-from block Return- To cylinder head Connectors used are Swivel type with barb end form

5 Swivel nut on the fitting which connects with ORFS face of the end fitting connecting to block/head
Barb end form with serrations on the end of the fitting which fits with the PA12 hose

6 Integration on Engine: Routed over Flywheel Housing
New option : with quick disconnects Existing option : with rigid lines
