2. What is Sarcoidosis? Sarcoidosis is a term of “eczema”
Sarcoid granulomas or Sarcoidosis as it is known is a inflammatory disease where abnormal nodules or (swelling) in certain organs of the body.
The swelling can alter the structure of the organs and can possibly mess with the functions of the organs themselves\
Often Mistaken as a form of Cancer because they have some of the same symptoms.

Systems affected by sarcoidosis that are associated with the most noticeable symptoms are the
Skin
Eyes
Musculoskeletal system
Nervous system
Heart
Liver
Kidneys
When sarcoidosis affects the skin, it can be referred to as skin sarcoidosis or sarcoid dermatitis.

General Symptoms
Fatigue
Fever
Swollen Lymph Nodes
Lung
Persistent dry cough
Shortness of Breath\
Wheezing
Chest Pain
Skin Symptoms
A rash of red or purple-bumps, usually located on the shins or ankles, which may be warm and tender to the touch.
Disfiguring sores (lesions) on the nose, cheeks and ears
Areas of skin that are darker or lighter in color
Growth under the skin (nodules) particularly around scar’s or tattoos.

6. Causes Of Sarcoidosis
One of the biggest causes of Sarcoidosis is breathing in a harmful substance such as mold but very little is known about the Causes. Doctors know only what the symptoms are they base that off it is if it is Sarcoidosis or Cancer.

7. Cure for Sarcoidosis There's no cure for sarcoidosis,
In half of cases it goes away on its own. You may not even need treatment if you don't have significant signs and symptoms of the condition,
You should be monitored with regular chest X-rays and exams of the eyes, Skin and any other organ involved
Meds including Steroids as Prednisone are given for pain.
Medications
If your symptoms are severe or organ function is threatened, you will likely be treated with medication.

The stages of sarcoidosis should not be viewed in the way that stages of cancer are- they do not indicate progression of the disease.
In sarcoidosis, staging is a way to indicate the location of granulomas- the lungs, the lymph nodes, or both- and the nature of the disease
