WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP YOURSELF PRIOR TO THE ACT TEST? IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR PROJECTED SCORE… 1.Continue to take the most rigorous classes you can. 2.Research the colleges on your list for scholarship opportunities. A higher ACT score could mean a scholarship! 3.Prepare for the ACT Test (Books, Prep Classes, On- Line Tutorials, etc.). IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR PROJECTED SCORE… 1.Identify the subjects and areas in which you need help (See Slide #2). 2.Seek out your teachers or tutoring for help. 3.Look to take more rigorous classes if possible. 4.Enroll in an ACT prep class. 5.Revise your list of possible colleges.
