2. Physical characteristics
Male alligators are 12 ft, and the weight of the male is normally lbs.
Long round , snouts and have very strong tails.

3. Habitat and diet
American Alligators live in low , wet , swampy areas in the Southeastern U.S .
They eat fish , snakes , turtles , and birds.

4. Why is my animal in danger?
People use Alligator skin for boots and other things.
Humans eat Alligator meat.

5. What is special about my animal?
Their eyes stick up when the bodies are underwater.
They use its powerful tail so that the Alligator can swim.

6. What can be done to save my animal?
If you kill the American Alligator , the hunter will go to jail for awhile
The climate gets higher so more male Alligators are produced and the male will soon meet the female.
