2 Fig 1 Screening, enrollment, and participant flow. Screening visits occurred at 4 months of age. All infants had at least 1 first-degree relative with a history of asthma, eczema, AR, or food allergy. Infants with an EW-SPT response of 2 mm or greater were excluded. All other infants were randomized 1:1 to receive daily placebo or pasteurized whole egg powder (egg protein, 350 mg) from the first successful introduction of solids until 8 months of age. Diets were liberalized at 8 months of age. Infants were assessed at 12 months with examination, SPTs (EW, peanut, cow's milk, soy, and wheat), and open OFCs. 3 Fig 2 Proportion of participants in the placebo and egg treatment groups who had EW-SPT responses of 3 mm or greater at 12 months of age. Graph includes all observed data available at 12 months of follow-up. A total of 144 participants had EW-SPT response data at 12 months (122 in the placebo and 122 in the egg groups). P values are based on χ2 analysis. Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology  , e8DOI: ( /j.jaci ) Copyright © 2016 American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Terms and Conditions

4 Fig 3 Upper panels show levels of egg-specific IgG4 (in kilounits per liter), and lower panels show ratios of egg-specific IgG4/IgE in serum at 12 months from infants who were randomized to received placebo and egg and include all available observations (93 in the egg group and 91 in the placebo group). Results for EW/whole egg, ovalbumin, and ovomucoid are shown. Wilcoxon rank sum nonparametric tests were used for analysis. 5 Fig E1 Levels of whole egg–specific IgE (in kilounits per liter) in serum at 12 months from infants who were randomized to receive placebo and egg and include all available observations (egg, 93; placebo, 91). Wilcoxon rank sum nonparametric tests were used for analyses.
