2 Recap - Aims (ToR) to engage in a dialogue with the Healthcare Science Workforce to determine their CWD requirements; to liaise with trust CWD leads and Healthcare Science colleagues via the Lead Organisational Scientists as appropriate; to collate CWD suggestions and exploit commonalities; to develop ideas for new courses with the appropriate parties to a level sufficient for the return;

3 Recap - Aims (ToR) to update the Healthcare Science Subgroup on progress and provide a valid CWD return; to disseminate the Healthcare Science CWD requirements to trusts to inform their own returns and provide consistency; to report to the LWAB via the HCS Subgroup any perceived deficiencies in CWD provision.

Part 2a (uncomissioned but existing courses): 56 courses requested 118 places requested Part 2b (course design requests): 8 courses suggested 16 – 29 places requested Roughly 2 places requested per course…

8 Next Step… Courses with large numbers of places requested, and the most severe impact to services if not funded are the most likely to be commissioned In order to improve consistency across the region (i.e. increase requests for courses), Parts 2a and 2b will now be recirculated 3 worksheets: Introduction Part 2a Combined Part 2b Combined

10 Next Step… Look at all the courses and the numbers currently requested in the spreadsheet, and add to them if appropriate Add to the requests originating from other trusts, or your own but please ensure you do not duplicate your original request!

11 Time Scales & Summary Lead scientists please collate the results for your trust and return to by: Monday 31st July Following this we will complete HCS CWD returns
