3 مَنْ is a Noun (اسمٌ ) مَنْ Who

4 كِتابُ مَنْ؟ Whose book? مُحَمَّدٍ كِتَابُ Possessor Possessed

5 كِتابُ مَنْ مُضافٌ إليه Possessor Possessed
Possessor ( ) is always in genitive case (we are looking for kasrah here!). مُضافٌ إليه مَن does not have kasrah in this example as the last vowel sign (harakah) on it is fixed, cannot be changed.

6 كِتابُ مَنْ Rule: There are certain indeclinable nouns in Arabic that remain unchanged.
