Frequency of each RT among all isolates (n = 498) is provided. Numbers inside charts represent number of strains isolated in each region (top) and RTs (bottom). Regions surveyed—North, Centre, Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, and Algarve, included six, four, nine and one hospitals, respectively. Only RTs representing ≥2% of strains from each region are shown individually. Remaining RTs are included in ‘other’ category. RT203 includes RT203 isolates and those for which RT could not be ascertained resulting from similarity between RT203 and RT209 profiles.
