Pink Student Record papers will be coming home this week. Please check that the information is correct and return to school ASAP.
Now that the weather is getting cooler, so is our classroom! I do not have control over the temperature in the classroom. If your child tends to get cold easily, please pack a sweater in their book bag that they can wear if they’re chilly . Wearing outside jackets in the classroom is discouraged.
What Are We Learning?
Reading – We will be focusing on learning about the “Main Character” in stories
Math – Patterns. Repeating patterns are a review from kindergarten. Growing patterns tend to be challenging in first grade.
Science – Our Animal research project! 
English – we will be starting our spelling word sorts this week. Please practice these with your child. The feature test will
be on Friday.
