The Edge Recorder Server is an optional service that stores all camera connection related data for convenient management for multiple Edge Recorder Client connections. Paired with this service, the Edge Recorder Client can easily connect to all the installed cameras in the network by requesting the config info from the ERS and then connecting to the cameras.
