Focus on Short-term Pleasure- Ecclesiastes 7:4-6 Boast about Sin – Proverbs 10:23 Pleasure in Deceiving others- boast about “conquests”

Has no interest in understanding but in experiencing pleasure – Proverbs 17:16 Without wisdom, tragic life- Ecclesiastes 2:14; Proverbs 1:7

Has Overconfidence that causes them to follow – Proverbs 12:15 Will maintain his way is RIGHT! – Proverbs 14:16 Has perception of others that allows him to manipulate them – Psalm 12:2-4; Proverbs 29:5

How does he speak of Others? How they talk about their parents- Proverbs 15:5 Will not control tongues as parents- Proverbs 14:1 How does he speak about God? - Psalm 14:1 Wants man-centered worship- Psalm 92:5,6

Talks about his “spirituality” and how he knows what God wants- Ecclesiastes 5:1 Interest in God only a means of drawing attention to self A fool will not last long Great concern – Who will he take with him? Does he listen, learn & change? Proverbs 27:22

Do not write his behavior off as harmless. Be careful how you speak to them- Proverbs 26:4,5 What will be the end of a fool? A fool will fall hard – Proverbs 10:8,10 Best job for fool is a slave- Proverbs 11:29 Has no honor – Proverbs 26:1
