1. Old Fullerians’ Den Rules
Each pupil can only make one application as part of a team (Team size of 2-5).
All schemes need to be paid for in their entirety by the £2000 grant and each team should make reasonable steps to ensure this. Please bear in mind wider costs such as installation, insurance, and whole-life costs such as maintenance. If in doubt, add some contingency in.
Each application form should be signed off by a form tutor or associated teacher, i.e. an application which is Maths based could have a Maths teacher.
All successful applicants to the final will be invited to give a 5-10 minute presentation of their scheme and should be prepared for questions by the panel.
Of those, the winning application will be chosen on both the quality of the presentation and on that of the scheme.
The scheme should enhance the school as a whole and benefit as many individuals as possible. It doesn’t need to be based on educational needs.
The scheme needs to be able to be installed/up and running by the following academic year, so you can benefit from it too!
The Den’s Decision is final
The deadlines are:
Submission of proposals to Mrs. Cox – Friday 17th November
Notification of finalists – Friday 24th November
Live finals – Friday 8th December
