Baseline (flightpath E & D): Know that
scalar quantities have a magnitude and vector quantities have a magnitude and direction, using the example of the difference between distance and displacement. Further (flightpath C): Describe vectors using a scaled drawing showing size and direction. Challenge (flightpath B&A): Categorise a range of quantities as vectors or scalars and explain the difference between a scalar and a vector.

As vectors have a direction and a magnitude they can be drawn as
an arrow, the length being the magnitude and the direction being the direction.
