FCCLA Membership A member is a person who belongs to an organization or group. To be a member you must have already had or be currently enrolled in a FACS class. Membership is gained by paying an annual dues amount. FCCLA has a national membership of over 220,000.

FCCLA Dues Dues are a fee or charge for membership in an organization or group MHS FCCLA Dues are $25.00 per year which includes a t-shirt and all activities. Students may join any time throughout the year, but may not be able to get a t-shirt after the initial sign-up in August and September.

Benefits of FCCLA A benefit is an advantage. New friends.
Career preparation. Projects and goals. Personal growth and self-esteem. Positive contact between youth & adults. Public speaking skills. Scholarship awards. Leadership experiences.

Leadership Leadership is the position or function of a leader. It is the ability to guide or direct others. Committee chairpersons or team leader are often used to carry our projects and activities. Committee or team members can offer personal ideas and contribute to group projects.

FCCLA Members should: Have a positive attitude.
Work closely with everyone in the chapter to achieve their goals. Respect the opinions of others. Stay informed about what is going on within the organization.
