IMPACT MEASUREMENT. WHY NOW? AND HOW?
The approach, mindset, and capabilities to define, measure, and drive effectiveness, value, and impact for the Talent Development (TD) function TD Function Value & Impact Are our L&D strategies and solutions aligned to and enabling business priorities? L&D Solution Effectiveness Are the L&D solutions doing what they are designed to do? In this session, we’ll share our outcome-based approach to planning, designing, measuring, and refining learning solutions, plus how we assess and articulate the impact of Talent Development as a business partner. Join us to learn: • How to maximize impact by defining business priorities and performance objectives, incorporating those in planning and design, measuring against those, and refining strategies and solutions accordingly. • How to evaluate the effectiveness of formal learning programs and drive continuous improvement efforts. • How to employ a common language to articulate the value and impact of the Talent Development function to stakeholders. Creatively exploring new and different ways to do things better? Driving quality solutions or initiatives that achieve learning and improve performance? Managing budget/spend and optimizing resources to achieve its priorities?

L&D SOLUTION EFFECTIVENESS
Defining intended outcomes and measuring solution effectiveness to drive continuous improvement What business priority is the L&D solution designed to support/enable? What are learners expected to know/be able to do? Improved learner performance and productivity Content relevance, usefulness, and applicability Acquisition of new skills or knowledge Learner perception of the learning experience, instructor, materials, etc.
