5 How did I Do? Marks out of 10: 1-3 I could play the ‘Splash’ pattern using a thumb brush strum, I was mostly in time with the music. I could play ‘Drip Drop’ but was sometimes out of time or played the wrong strings at the wrong time. I found it hard remembering which string to play when. ‘Pitter-Patter’ was difficult when we played along with the other parts. I don’t know if I was playing the right strings at the right time. 4-6 I could play the ‘Splash’ pattern using a thumb brush strum, I was in time with the music. I could play ‘Drip Drop’ and I was mostly in time with the music. ‘Pitter-Patter’ was ok but I did occasionally get the notes muddled up, or I played too fast or too slowly. I tried to use my thumb and finger alternately. 7-8 I could play ‘Drip Drop’ and I was in time with the music. ‘Pitter-Patter’ was fine, using my finger and thumb alternately was tricky, but I managed it with practice. I was in time with the music. 9-10 I could play ‘Pitter-Patter’. I used my finger and thumb alternately and I was in time with the music.
