How can you identify idioms in stories? How can idioms help you write better stories? How can you make your sentences better? Why should you prove what you know? Assessment Strategy Students will demonstrate how to categorize sentence types. Students will identify idioms in sentences and paragraphs. Students will create sentences with idioms. Students can explain how adding idioms to a sentence can make it better. Students will do RTI as needed to reinforce skills.
