Mastery Grade Recovery
After preparing/studying for a summative assessment, if a student is unable to show mastery, he/she will be given a grade recovery opportunity. The purpose of this opportunity is to give students more instructional time to master each standard. Procedure Any student meeting the criteria described above will be given an opportunity to show mastery. This makes the grading equitable and valid for those students needing additional time to master grade level objectives. Stephanie Godaire
