INTERVIEWS “We conduct activities against racism, from our decolonial feminist perspective. We make counter-hegemonic alliances between the feminists from our country of destination and the migrated feminists; with the aim of reverting oppressions, breaking with white privilege and creating alliances of resistance and shared fight. “ “I suppose many women go through very sad circumstances, because they are in a vulnerable situation, because they do not have the basics to survive. When you migrate you need some basic things such as a house and a job. Many of them do not have that, and well, it is complicated. “ “Immigration laws are racist, oppressive, and dehumanizing. We believe immigration law endorses an attack against the human’s fundamental right to their citizenship inherent to their human condition. “ “I came here vocationally, and out of love”

WHAT DO WE KNOW NOW? HYPOTHESIS
Women migrate because of sexism and oppression in their original country. Trip conditions for women are worse than for men. They suffer sexual violence and can get caught by sexual slavery mafias. Laboral and social insertion is harder for women because of sexism at the destination country. Migrated women are mainly: cleaning ladies, domestic workers, sexual workers, kitchen assistants. In these jobs they can face bad laboral conditions and they are badly paid. Their situation during all the migration process is more vulnerable than men’s. WHAT DO WE KNOW NOW?
