In-Text Citations
When quoting or citing sources, you MUST use in-text citations in your essay to show that the evidence is credible, and to make sure that you are giving credit to the author(s) of the quote.
How to insert in-text citations:

Must be in alphabetical order by last name of author.
12-point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced
Indent every line after first line for each citation
Title of book or website must be in italics
Date format must be: day month year
Example: 1 Jan. 2015, 24 Feb. 2015, 20 May 2015.

Example of MLA Format:

Make sure all of your paragraphs are double-spaced. If you are using a quote in your first paragraph, make sure to cite the evidence using in-text citations. The last sentence in your introduction should be your clear and concise thesis statement.
