1 Sun Earth and Moon By Connor Crews

2 Weather The Earth’s average temperature is about 58 degrees F.
The are two extreme temp. for the Moon -183 and 293 degrees F. The outside of the Sun is 5,505 degrees F.

3 Size The Earth’s size is 3,959 miles.
The size of the Moon is 1,079 miles. The Sun’s size is 432,474 miles.

4 Gravity The gravity on Earth is 9.807 m/s2.
The gravity on the Moon is m/s2 The Sun’s gravity is grams.

5 Water The Earth is 75% water.
The Moon has a little bit of water but it is in the form of ice. The sun has NO water

6 Years Earth’s years are 365 1/4. The Moons years are 29.5 days.
The Sun’s years are 230 million years.

7 Atmosphere Our atmosphere made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.9% argon, 0.03% carbon dioxide. The Moon has no atmosphere. The Sun’s atmosphere is made up of unknown gasses.

8 Time to get Spinney Earth rotates on its axis every 24 hours.
The Moon rotates on its axis every 27 days. The Sun also takes 27 days.

9 Craters and Landforms The Earth has mountains, lakes, forest, seas, and rivers. The Moon has so many craters because it has No atmosphere. Sun spots are darker areas on the sun. They are cooler than the rest of the area.

10 Other cycles Seasons are caused by the tilt of the axis.
The tides are caused by the moons gravitational pull. Where ever the moon is pulling is where the high tides are. The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West.

11 Weathering and Erosion
It happens on the Earth all the time because we have a atmosphere. The Moon cannot have those happen because there is NO atmosphere. Solar flares are when the Sun releases gasses and plasma in space.
