The Good News and the Challenge… Graduate Profile: A focus on Readiness Our Goals: 20,000 conversations to help students, parents, and the public have a better understanding of the knowledge/skills needed for success today 50 collaborators (WV Climb, WVPEC, 3 local pilot districts) to spur action

3 West Virginia’s Climb Our goal to equip 60% of West Virginians with a certificate of degree by 2030 31% of West Virginians aged held at least an associate degree in 2016 55% of recent West Virginia high school graduates enrolled in college in the fall of 2017 60% of working –aged West Virgians will need a certificate or degree in order to meet our state’s future workforce demands.
