1 Grab the Egg Drop Check List
Grab your assigned computer Log On Open Word (Google Docs) Type your Lab Reports No Internet THIS CHECK LIST IS GOLD FOR A GOOD GRADE!! or save your report to a flash drive! I will not have these computers tomorrow!

2 Prepare YOUR Spiral For A Spiral Check
Groups of 3 Get a White Board & Marker Answers the following questions in your group Evolution is a change over time and the theory that we all have a common ancestor How do fossils provide evidence for Evolution? How does Homologous Structures provide evidence of Evolution? Vestigial Organs? DNA (Molecular)? TEST is on Wednesday/Thursday Block Fossils are physical proof of how organisms have changed over millions of years. For example, the completed fossil record of an orca whale shows the organism used to live on land. Homologous structures can show the links of organisms developing from a common ancestor. Overtime the variations in the same structures (bones) adapted to different environments and different functions. Vestigial structures show that organisms used to live in different environments, where they may have previously been needed, and vestigial structure in one organism, may still be functioning in a different organsism. Molecular evidence shows that all organisms use the same DNA pairing rules, A-T and C-G. It also shows how similar organisms are; the more similarities the DNA sequences of two organisms closer their relationship.
