Your Pitch To prepare your pitch to the cable network giant, you will need to: Identify a specific topic within a history period: England a. About Shakespeare d. Food b. The Globe Theatre e. Language c. Marriage f. The Theatre g. Health and Hygiene 2.Use your developing skills as a researcher to identify key elements/events in the time you have chosen and present your findings in a timeline (TASK 1).

NEXT, (TASK 2) 3. Draw inferences about the most important aspects of the time period in relation to your topic.

(TASK 2) 4. Search out various artistic works/media (novels, short stories, essays, paintings, poems, music, documentaries, films, etc.) connected to your historical topic and cite correctly in a Works Cited page. o Find as many different sources and types of creative media to get the most impact, but you could have * one visual and/or audio medium: painting, film, song, sculpture, photograph, * one work of fiction: poetry or prose * one work of non-fiction, preferably a primary source GRADING: THREE = A TWO = B One = C

Then, 5. Create (use) a graphic organizer to determine which details or facts from the time/event are emphasized in each account, citing specific textual evidence supporting your analysis.

Finally, (TASK 3) 6. Write an expository paper detailing your findings about the time/event, the most significant elements from the various media explaining which details are emphasized in each account. 7. Share your findings with your classmates in a presentation (optional)
