4. PALM BEACH COUNTY GOVERNMENT BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Palm Beach County Government consists of a seven (7) member board of county commissioners. The public service board members are elected to staggered four year terms by registered voters in the district in which the commissioners reside. The Board of County Commissioners serves as the legislative and policy-setting body for county government; enacts countywide laws and authorizes programs and all expenditures of county funds.
