Look at onion cells under the microscope and describe what we see

4. Cells
The smallest unit in life is a cell- they are tiny and transparent
We need to use a STAIN so we can see parts of the cell
An example of a stain is IODINE

6. Instructions
Collect a slide, coverslip, slice of onion and bottle of iodine
Place the onion tissue on the slide
Add 3 drops of Iodine
Place the coverslip on the slide gently to avoid air bubbles
Place the slide on the microscope and draw what you see
