No requirement to fulfil criteria – less time pressure. Freedom. Team approach more likely. More likely to ‘have a go’. Focus is on the teaching and learning rather than on the write-up.

4 Initial meeting with all schools participating
Initial meeting with all schools participating. Four projects running concurrently – SEAL, Involving Parents, Functional Maths and Three Level Progress. 6 Conclusions: Consider changes to SoW. Change of emphasis for students entering college with L3. Build jotting strategies and techniques into SoW for Level 3 and low Level 4 students. Focus on non-commutative operations and proportional reasoning. Provide opportunities for students to discuss possible misconceptions and explore inconsistencies in their reasoning.
