Main dimensions for introducing Lesson Study in Kazakhstan
School-based teacher professional development Sharing website COE are external advisers as part of post-course support Training school trainers Annual LS conferences Teacher training courses The main agent in introducing LS is the COE – we not only deliver courses but provide post course support as well. But the staff of COE is too small to embrace every teacher In order to cover as many schools as possible another program was launched:

School-based training «Practice-based inquiry»
Training school trainers Training teachers to be school trainers in their own schools in relation to «Practice-based inquiry» including LS: CONTENT of 80 hour course: Lesson Study cycle, lesson planning, methods of observing the lesson, the ways of lesson analysis , introduction of concepts of LS ecology and culture of LS 1526 school trainers for 763 schools in 2018 School-based teacher training School trainers introduce LS within their own schools, support and consult teachers, who are eager to participate in LS in their school, to develop and extend research skills of teachers

In 2017 and first regional Lesson Study conferences "Lesson Study: the experience of Kazakhstani schools“ where teachers share their experience on LS 1300 teachers participated in 7 conferences More and more regions are involved into it. Why do we need conferences – to unite those who are involved into LS, to share experience, to search answers to their questions, to make connections, as a result – to promote LS further

Seminars and workshops on the Lesson study for teachers of Kazakhstan
April-July senior research fellow at the National Institute of education Studies of the Ministry of education of Japan Toshiya Chichibu October 2014-Dean of the Saga University (Japan) Tetsuo Kuramoto March researcher at the National Institute for education policy research Toshiya Chichibu (Tokyo, Japan) for 60 trainers of the COE and 12 teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools held a training seminar for 60 trainers of the center and 12 teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools "Development of research thinking through the implementation of the study lesson approach. Observation, transcription and analysis of lesson."
