It has been developed and is maintained with the purpose of assessing the IASI measurements capabilities, in the frame of the EUMETSAT European Polar System (EPS) preparation, by simulating high resolution radiances and/or using experimental data. Assessment of GEISA contents through comparison with other public spectroscopic databases (IASI brightness temperature difference simulations) Impact of individual spectroscopic parameters evaluation (K) Simulation with GEISA-03 (upper curve) Impact of replacement of HITRAN-04 or MIPAS PF3.2 H2O data in GEISA-03(differences (K) in lower curves), with associated standard IASI noise at T=280 K.
