Objective: Students will be able to critique each other’s writing.
Agenda
Do Now: Turn and talk with your tablemates. Captains will share with the class.
Work Period: Read a partner’s vocabulary story. Using the Academic Language Scripts handout, critique (review/analyze) their story by using 5 questions/sentence starters.
Discussion/Reflection: Students will share their critiques. Why was this activity helpful to improve our writing? What can you PREDICT we will do as a follow-up activity/assignment?
