2. General This is the first year of our updated framework
Much of the focus has been on the updating
EV team has been involved in supporting centres as they implement the updated framework
Visiting EV activity is about to start
Not much Prior Verification to date

3. Review
Visits highlighted strain on the Accounting teams in the larger centres
Much of the stress based around teams being thrust together and streamlining different processes and procedures
Visiting activity confirmed teams beginning to work together
EV team feedback - providing more of a supporting service at times

4. Current Issues Security of exemplars
Candidates must NOT know in advance what will come up where sampling is applied
Timescales of assessment events must be adhered to
Error tolerance thresholds need to be applied
Confirmation that work is candidate's own

5. International Largest market is for HN Business
Framework includes HN Accounting Units Business Accounting and Preparing Financial Forecasts
Lot of EV visiting activity in China
Growing market in Asia

6. Support Lots of colleagues leaving the sector
That means lots of experience lost
Pressure to deliver in less time to more candidates is evident
