« SEE-SKILLS », MSCA-RISE Project Proposal Coordinator: Clinical Center of Montenegro Podgorica Meeting 2018 Tirana Meeting 2018 specific objectives of « SEE-SKILLS »: * To stimulate trans-national research and clinical protocol optimization through developing a quality design of clinical trials as a preparation for later inclusion of particle therapy as an experimental treatment arm compared with best available X-rays in international randomized clinical studies * To stimulate active participation of researchers in secondment to TPS calculation and optimization together with the medical physicists and the radiotherapists in charge by using databases which are determined with advanced calculation techniques such as the Monte Carlo (MC) methods.   * To explore in detail the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) as a practical quantitative concept introduced to account for an increased efficiency of protons and other particles relative to conventional radiotherapy. * To optimize the beam energy, shape and irradiation condition in dependence on the tumor size and depth, and to optimize the protective screens. * To develop Input files for MCNP, to testing the code, to collect the data from patients and to analyze this data
