2. JPM-E Mission and Vision
Develop, produce, test, integrate, sustain, operate and field the capabilities (people, equipment, and training) required to conduct chemical WMD destruction operations (assess, access, demilitarize, decontaminate, dispose, and recover) worldwide.
Vision:
To be DoD's premier acquisition enterprise delivering agile and tailored capabilities supporting counter-WMD operations across the entire CBRN spectrum.

3. JPM-E’s RDAP Projects Programs in Research and Development
Development of technology for decontaminating agent contaminated soils and debris
Development and procurement of a high throughput explosively configured destruction system for recovered warfare material
Development and improvement of X-ray and detection systems for recovered warfare material
Conduct research into comparing and contrasting techniques and equipment for chemical agent analytical systems
Improvement to the Explosive Destruction System at the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (increase throughput and operability). EDS will be used to destroy PCAPP’s reject munitions
