Suggested activity: Have participants get into groups of 4 (or so) and give each participant a stack of post-it notes. Participants write down the type of assessment and put the note in the center of the table. Must say and write they type of assessment so that others hear it. May not repeat types of assessments. Provide maybe 2 minutes. At the conclusion have teams sort the assessments into formative and summative or both. Then they discuss the 3 questions.
