2. What is Naviance Naviance is……….
A college and career platform that helps students connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals and success.
A web-based tool that includes a suite of applications that enable schools and families to build and manage personalized learning plans that align with college and career readiness objectives.
A tool that enables teachers, counselors, administrators and families to collaborate with students on a daily basis as they chart their future.
Three main components:
Family Connections - courses, colleges, careers & about me
School – manage college visits, scholarships, communications, etc.
District – generate reports (scholarships, college data), monitor trends

Success Planning in Naviance provides the foundational tools that support student success at any level.. Success planning creates action-oriented personalized plans that help the student plan for the future and keep school stakeholders and parents engaged.
Our collaborative solution ties all of the key areas for ensuring post secondary success for every student and some key areas within Naviance are Success planning where the students have individualized learning plans and learn real world skills
Career Planning allows the students to take personality assessments and it gives them the most relevant careers and corresponding colleges that have that major. It is all integrated and it streamlines the process for students, parents, teachers, counselors and administrators in preparing every student for career or college and it is not only about getting into a college but the right college.
Allowing students to feel more engaged and understand exactly what there path is and why that are taking the courses they need to get them to their ultimate goal.
