Compare and Contrast Open the Blackboard link on the home screen. Click on Mrs. Carlin’s Class. Click on the ELA tab. Click on the “Nothing Left to Lost” reading passage Read the passage. Then click on the questions and answer each question on a sheet of paper. Read back in the text to answer the questions. Check your answers with the provided key on the second page. Reread the story and make corrections as necessary and turn into the blue basket. M Compare and Contrast Compare and contrast the settings of the passage “Nothing Left to Lose” with a partner. Each partner is to draw a sketch of a different setting and prepare about five sentences to say about the setting. While one partner is giving the presentation, the other partner will record the presenter using the iPad video camera. Review the recordings and make edits as necessary. When finished, submit the final draft to the “Compare and Contrast Blackboard blog. R Compare and Contrast Using the Aurasma application, create a presentation with a partner. Create one poster with a target link that will combine both of your earlier video presentations. The poster will be hung outside the classroom door so that others can view your work. Also upload your project to the Aurasma database .
