2 The Standard (5) Matter and energy. The student knows that matter has physical properties and those properties determine how it is described, classified, changed, and used. The student is expected to: (A) classify matter by physical properties, including shape, relative mass, relative temperature, texture, flexibility, and whether material is a solid or liquid;

3 Entry Document Requirements:
East Texas Toy Co. needs your help! They are looking for the best and safest materials for a new toy line for the ages of 0-5 and 5-10 years old. Your group will use physical properties of items to classify and determine the best materials for toys making for each age group. Your group will also create a toy for an age group of your choosing. Your group will present and persuade the committee by creating a toy for one of the age groups and explaining the process and materials. Your committee will have 2-3 minutes to present your findings and toy to the toy committee on July 13th, 2017. Entry Document Requirements: Determine which materials are best for creating toys for ages 0-5 and 5-10. Create a persuasive presentation explaining 3 reasons why makers should use the material and make this toy. Presentation lasts 2 minutes
