3. 16/04/2012 * Easy is funded under the Artes 20 framework coordinated by ESA * Artes 20 is focused on the development of innovative services enable by at least two satellite assets * EASY consortium id composed by 5 companies and is coordinated by SIRM * Easy lasts 9 months and the final review is planned for the beginning of May EASY – Easy And Safe Yachting 3

8. * EASY Service Centre logical architecture * Data Management: this layer relies on the use of relational databases (e.g. Oracle DBMS) * Application Infrastructure: the application infrastructure layer is based on a Java EE Application Server technology, which host the business logic. It also provides high degree of SOA capabilities and integrates with the SOA Infrastructure technologies. A list of well-known application server can include JBoss, IBM Websphere, Oracle Weblogic, etc. * Service Infrastructure: the service infrastructure layer contains a set of modules that cooperate together in the SOA Infrastructure. 16/04/2012 EASY – Easy And Safe Yachting 8
