Bell Ringer: Examine the diagrams below. Identify how they are different. Then think about what you have read and the lab we did yesterday. Use this to help you identify which diagram (Left or Right) shows two objects with a stronger force of gravity. Justify why you made your choice in terms of the two factors that influence gravity.

Draw a diagram of the investigation setup in your notebook.
Use arrows to show how the force of gravity is holding everything in place.
Thinking about gravity…Predict what will happen to the items when the pie plate is tapped from the side. Show your prediction with another diagram.
