7 GERUND PRESENT PARTICIPLE
Do not confuse a gerund with a present participle used as an adjective or as part of a verb phrase. GERUND I enjoyed volunteering at the Special Olympics. PRESENT PARTICIPLE All students volunteering for the decorating committee should arrive one hour early.
