Since the introduction of vehicle telematics we have seen a steady reduction in the amount of Notice of Intended Prosecutions raised against Network Rail employees when driving our vehicles fitted with VSWS
Hire vehicles that are not fitted with VSWS have not decreased in NIPs at the same rate
This data supports the theory that the implementation of vehicle telematics to Network Rails fleet is promoting positive safer driving behaviours.
Safer driving is a key part of the Lifesaving Rules.

Speeding event process. Driver details remain anonymous.
Since product launch - 79 validated speeding events have been raised to the business (76 x 10mph+ events and 3 x 20mph+ event).
Over the last 7 periods, we have seen a marked decline in speeding events.

Since the fitment of telematics to Network Rails fleet, fuel expenditure has decreased significantly. This indicates in a reduction in miles travelled also.
