Up to now we have finished all activities in 5/5 components; In this reporting period we have fully achieved mandatory results in 3 activities; 4 Regional trainings on organisation and implementation of cancer screening programs 4 Regional trainings on monitoring and reporting of cancer screening programs 1 Report on status of cancer screening registry update

Achievement of mandatory results: Component 4
Activity description No Achievement Conducting regional workshops for 80 health professionals (in total) on organization and implementation of the National Cancer Screening Programmes; upon implementation of workshops the trainees should be enabled to further disseminate the obtained knowledge. 4.3 Fully completed Achieved: 4 Regions, 3 days trainings. 323 (228) health professionals attended the meetings. Training materials were provided for participants, enable them to disseminate obtained knowledge further. Total MS expert working days: 36

Activity description No Achievement Conducting regional workshops for 80 health professionals (in total) on monitoring and reporting of the National Cancer Screening Programmes; upon implementation of workshops the trainees should be enabled to further disseminate the obtained knowledge. 4.5 Fully completed Achieved: 4 Regions, 3 days trainings. 201 (144) health professionals attended the meetings. Training materials were provided for participants, enable them to disseminate obtained knowledge further. Total MS expert working days: 36

Achievement of mandatory results: Component 5
Activity description No Achievement To upgrade the Screening Register. 5.5 Fully completed Achieved: Upgrade of the Screening Register provided by private sector subcontracting. Links between screening registry and cancer registry are established via ONKO+ message. Upgrade supervised by MS experts. Total MS expert working days: 20

Overall assessment of the progress
17 STE missions with 92 working days Up to this date we have fully implemented all activities in all 5 components. Progress: 100% of project mandatory results (24 out of 24 mandatory results). Total amount of working days 412,5 out of 409 planned in total, it is 101% of all working days planned. 4 Side Letters have been issued. Good and efficient collaboration with HZJZ and MoH staff in preparation of STE missions and round table;

Visibility 1 time National TV (HRT1 news) informed about project results. 3 times regional news media covered project trainings. During interviews to media we informed about project activities and trainings. Project results and expert recommendations has been presented at international CanCon conference in Zagreb. Project results and expert recommendations has been presented at national cervical cancer conference in Zagreb.

Issues and problems The 1st quarterly report has been submitted to CFCA on 13 June, Comments received and submitted corrected version on 30 November, Report requires to be approved. The 2nd and 3rd quarterly reports has been submitted to CFCA on 26 September, 2016 and SC members. No comments received up-to-date. Report requires to be approved. Trainings had higher numbers of training participants (in total 584) than estimated in the project fiche and contract (added value from project).
