CRD-BP and miRNA-183 Act Antagonistically in the CDS to Control the Stability of βTrCP1 mRNA
(A) In complex with Ago2, miR-183 binds the βTrCP1 mRNA in the CDS and triggers degradation.
(B) CRD-BP could displace miR-183 and Ago2 by competing for a partially overlapping binding site.
(C) Alternatively, CRD-BP may alter the secondary structure of the βTrCP1 mRNA, thereby rendering the miR-183-binding site inaccessible.
